The party is hired by the town's governor to investigate attacks on merchant caravans coming into town. The town is on a major trade route and depends on these caravans to survive. During their investigation, the party discovers that it is a local merchant that is behind these attacks because he wants to have a monopoly on trade in the town. -
The party arrives in town one evening. Sometime during the night, the town is put into a panic by the brutal murder of a family. The party is asked to investigate. However, the next morning the family is found alive, and no one seems to remember anything happening the night before, only for the family to be brutally murdered again that night. The party needs to investigate what is happening here, and discover that this town is much more than meets the eye. -
A remote outpost on the edge of Thorned Glade Woods is being relentlessly attacked by strange and powerful creatures from the forest itself. The outpost is on its last legs with few soldiers left to guard it and its defenses completely destroyed. The only way to stop it is to delve into the woods and discover why these attacks are suddenly happening and find a way to stop them. -
Everyone in the town of Delta Bottom is in a deep slumber from which they cannot be awoken. To make matters worse, strange creatures seem to be delving into the people's dreams. There is a curse at foot here, but who would want to curse the people of this small fishing town? It is up to the party to find out and put an end to it. -
The town is experiencing some problems with the water. The fish have all fled, their sacred trees are dying, and the water in all the wells have become undrinkable. The river itself seems to have been tainted by some unknown source. The party will have to find the source of the contamination, and save it from the cult doing Delta Bottom harm. -
It's amazing to us here at Dren that there is a surprising lack of Clown monsters for 5e. Clowns can be the scariest, silliest, and most entertaining monsters to battle if used correctly. So, we decided that we needed to create some. And while we were at it, we figured we'd create a whole new carnival themed adventure to go along with it. This adventure features a circus that has come to town, but there is something very wrong with the clowns. They are wreaking havoc throughout the streets, with everything from throwing bombs, to destroying homes with giant balloon animals, and to boot, they are forcibly recruiting the citizens to join their ranks. The party must stop them before the town is leveled and the people are all gone. This adventure also includes a section with rules for playing carnival games that can be used with any adventure. -

The party will have to discover the location of Doctor Ingot's workshop, and run through a maze of puzzles and dangers to find Doctor Ingot and prevent him from using his automatons to rain terror on the town. -

The Timeless Forest is usually a peaceful place. The Fey creatures who live here are accustomed to travelers, and though they might cause some mischief, they are not usually threatening towards people. They live in harmony with nature, and protect the Temporal Crystal which lies in the heart of the forest. But now something has caused the Temporal Crystal to unleash waves of temporal magic, which is causing the forest to be wild and unpredictable, and has corrupted the Fey, turning them into strange and grotesque versions of the creatures they once were. The party must venture into the forest, and will find the cause of the unstable temporal magic--the Chronomancer. The question is, can they stop him before they lose their minds and reality literally unravels around them. We started out trying to do a simple one-shot, but the adventure proved to be too big. This is a dungeon-crawl adventure that should last 3-4 complete sessions. This adventure is designed for a party of levels 10-14. -

About the Setting
The City of Gaphior stands as an oasis in a semi-arid region in the center of the realms. The city was created by an ancient wizard the city is named for when his experiments with magic caused the region to bloom with life. Today, the city is a beacon of magic, where people flock to get their hands on magical items, potions, spells, and to learn the ways of magic. The lifestyle of Gaphior's citizens is entirely based on magic.About the Adventure
While exploring the city, a magical barrier is cast from the wizards tower, sealing the entire city off from the outside world, and trapping the party inside the city with all of it's inhabitants. They cannot escape the city without figuring out a way to shut down this magical barrier, and the people inside will only be able to sustain themselves for so long. The party will have to quest through the city, solving puzzles and figuring out clues in order to obtain the components, and the ritual needed to shut down the barrier and free the city. We are going to compare this adventure to a city-wide escape room. Where the party will have to uncover clues, which will lead to more clues, and solve puzzles, in order to escape. We also want to add that this adventure is written to be system agnostic, meaning that it can be played with any fantasy TTRPG system, including 5e, Pathfinder, and others. -
