It's amazing to us here at Dren that there is a surprising lack of Clown monsters for 5e. Clowns can be the scariest, silliest, and most entertaining monsters to battle if used correctly. So, we decided that we needed to create some. And while we were at it, we figured we'd create a whole new carnival themed adventure to go along with it. This adventure features a circus that has come to town, but there is something very wrong with the clowns. They are wreaking havoc throughout the streets, with everything from throwing bombs, to destroying homes with giant balloon animals, and to boot, they are forcibly recruiting the citizens to join their ranks. The party must stop them before the town is leveled and the people are all gone. This adventure also includes a section with rules for playing carnival games that can be used with any adventure. -

The party will have to discover the location of Doctor Ingot's workshop, and run through a maze of puzzles and dangers to find Doctor Ingot and prevent him from using his automatons to rain terror on the town. -
